Chapter 8: Away for a Week
I really wonder how Kim Junsu managed to convince me into a holiday with him. For a week, up at the mountains. Yes, Jang Ri In. You’re now officially diagnosed to be suffering from too-obedient-to-be-true disease.

“Wake up, sleepyhead!” Junsu shoved Ri In roughly. “You’ve been sleeping ever since I started driving 5 hours ago!”
Ri In yawned as she stretched her arms. A yell came from her left as her left fist hit a charming guy named Kim Junsu on the chin. “Opps! I’m sorry!”
Junsu glared at Ri In angrily. ‘I must be mad to take a whole week off to accompany her. Yes I’m mad.’

Ri In’s mouth dropped open to a ‘o’ shape as soon as she stepped into the house. There was a gigantic window which oversee a waterfall. The house was also furnished in such a way that there was a beach house feeling to it. “This place is amazing!” Ri In ran from window to window, feeling her blood rush through her body excitedly. “The air is fantastic!” Junsu heard her shouting from the front door.
“Get down here and unpack the luggage!” Junsu could not help but smile at how cute Ri In was reacting. Perhaps this trip to the mountains would be worthwhile journey after all.

Having been coped up in the gigantic mansion Junsu claim is a house, my mood has went down considerably. Being amongst the beautiful nature right now has managed to change my mood for the better. Even being ordered about doesn’t seem to bad now… “Check the fridge to see if we have enough ingredients for dinner!” I hear Junsu shouting from the living room. Seriously, I’m not wonder woman, nor am I some magician. Stop bossing me around!

“Toss the salad like this!” Ri In demonstrated for the nth time before handing the bowl back to Junsu. Eyebrows closely knitted together, Junsu picked up the wooden spoon and tried to do what Ri In has just done. “Watch out!” Junsu shouted as he watched the salad lose control and did a few somersaults before landing on the floor in a dilapidated heap. Out of the corner of his eye, Junsu could see Ri In’s furious expression. Uh oh.

“This can’t be happening to me.” Junsu groaned. He has never in his whole life washed a plate before. What are his friends going to think if they see him right now? “Jang Ri In, you come here and take over!” he shouted at Ri In who was cooking at the stove.
“I can’t multi task! You’ll have to wash the plates clean before I can serve you any dinner!” Ri In tried to calm herself down as she walked back and forth between the stove and the sink to check on both the food and Junsu. There was a loud shout accompanied by the sound of breaking glass. Kim Junsu has successfully broken another plate.

Ri In found it a miracle to be able to sit down and have her dinner. The day has been hectic with spilled salads and broken plates. She had never dreamt that a guy who looks so capable could not even handle simple household chores. “No wonder he needs so many servants in the house!”
“Pardon?” Junsu looked up from his food. “You said something?”
“No!” Ri In dropped her fork and clamped her hand over her mouth. ‘Stupid Ri In, stop saying your thoughts aloud!’ she reprimanded mentally as she knocked herself a few times on the head. Junsu stared at Ri In’s weird actions, wondering what in the world is happening to her again.

“Shall we go stargazing?” Junsu found himself asking Ri In after dinner. Delight washed over Ri In’s face almost immediately. “Of course! The stars must be extra bright since we’re up here right? Closer to the stars…”
“Yeah, probably…” he has never went stargazing before even when he came up here. He mostly just concentrated what he brought up with him. His work. Ri In pulled out a bag and started dumping in what she thought would come in handy.
“Wait! We’re stargazing, not camping!”

With much difficulty and help from Junsu, Ri In finally managed to climb to what she considered would be the ‘best spot’. Throwing a mat onto the grass, Ri In pulled Junsu down beside her. “It’s so exciting isn’t it? I wonder if there’ll be any shooting stars…” Ri In mumbled. Junsu shook his head and smiled. The eccentricities of his wife…

Junsu was shaken awake by an ecstatic Ri In. “Look, a meteor shower!” she pointed up to the sky. Indeed, it was a meteor shower. Junsu gasped at the sight in front of him. “Make a wish quickly!” Ri In laced both her hands tightly together. Somehow, Junsu found a force which seem to be controlling his movement. His hand reached into his pocket for the mobile phone and snapped a picture of Ri In. Beaming, he stared at the picture, then back at the sky. What a beautiful night…

I can’t believe I really saw a meteor shower. A meteor shower! Can you believe that? It’s like so rare and I’m up so high, the view is fantastic… I wonder if my wish would come true… I want my prince in shining armor to be beside me right now…
