Chapter 20: Another Secret Revealed“As I thought, they are a big group. Very up-to-date too.” Jaejoong eyed the web page Changmin just found. More accurately put, hacked into. Jaejoong retrieved his vibrating phone from his pants pocket. Looking at the caller id, Jaejoong spoke into the phone. “Hero.”
“This is YChun. I heard from Max you discovered a girl who uses poisonous arrows?”
“How did you know?!” Jaejoong turned sharply to look at Changmin who is enjoying his tub of ice cream.
“That computer whiz sent a email to my phone. I bet Xiah received one too.” Jaejoong rolled his eyes at what he just heard. Changmin looked up at Jaejoong and waved his spoon victoriously.
‘Timeless, this isn’t farewell… if we can rewind love this moment would be forever…’ Junsu’s mobile phone rang out and vibrated. Ri In opened her eyes slightly, hearing the familiar song. “Junsu?” sitting up, she looked towards the table where Junsu’s phone lay. “Why is my song his ring tone?!” Junsu walked out of the bathroom just as Ri In was about to pick up the phone. He scooped up the phone and flipped it open.
“Why is my song your ring tone?!” Ri In crossed her arms and interrogated.
“I recorded down your singing that’s why…” Junsu explained as he read the email he just received. “Didn’t you notice?” Junsu replaced his phone on the table and sat down beside Ri In. Ri In gave a cute pout and turned her back to Junsu. “Eunkyungkyung… just go wash up already! Your driving lesson is at 10am, and it’s now 9.17...” Junsu pretended to look at his watch. Without a doubt, Ri In let out a gasp before speeding towards the bathroom. “Eunkyungkyungkyung!”
“If not for the one year worth of hamburgers, I would not abandon my other work to source for these…” Changmin turned the laptop towards Jaejoong.
“You and your food-filled brain. I wonder why you didn’t turn into some chef. Plus, gaming isn’t work.” Jaejoong grumbled and snatched the device off Changmin’s table to place it on his lap. “Genie Zhuo, otherwise known as Oxygenie, 21. Skilled in usage of arrows and has a hobby of developing poisons.” Changmin recited what he just memorized as he stuffed his mouth with biscuits, causing crumbs to fly in various directions onto Jaejoong’s pretty face.
“Shut up, I can read myself!” Jaejoong hissed while wiping his face.
Junsu let out a high-pitched dolphin shriek as Ri In swerved the car dangerously around a bend. The instructor gripped tightly onto the car door, face ashen. “Do I turn this thing left or right now?” Ri In shouted. “Do I turn right?”
“LEFT!” Junsu managed to squeeze out a reply amid his shrieks for help. Too late. Ri In turned the steering wheel right.
“Whoa!” Micky shouted and jammed on his brakes. “This road ain’t yours, you can’t drive it whichever way you like!” Micky got out of his car and shouted. Ri In rolled down the windows and smiled awkwardly at Micky. “Hi…” she said meekly.
“Ri In?! and Junsu?” Micky saw Junsu who was catching his breath in the backseat. “You’re the one who almost whammed your car into mine?”
“You don’t have to shout at my wife!” Junsu protested.
“You don’t have to be so protective of her! Teach her how to drive properly before bringing her out next time!”
“What did you say?!”
Ri In returned to the living room to find Junsu and Micky still staring at each other. “Uh… coffee’s here!” Ri In said in her cheeriest voice and skipped over to the couch. “Whoaaa!” Ri In tripped over her own leg and fell towards Junsu.
“Ri In!” Junsu stood up immediately and grabbed Ri In by her waist. “How many times do I have to save you?”
“I’m the one who nearly got scalded here!” Micky stomped his foot angrily on the ground. “If not for my fast reflexes, you’ll see me lying in Yunho’s clinic now!” he pointed to the broken cups and piping hot coffee spilled on the floor.
“The problem is, you are not my wife, and you didn’t fall in my direction.” Junsu said calmly and waved Hye Jin over. “Clean this up before someone steps on it and blames us for it.” Junsu glared at Micky.
“What did you just say?!” this time, it was Micky who shouted this sentence.
“It’s such a pity they didn’t get to drink the coffee…” Hye Jin muttered as she threw the spilled contents away. “If not they’ll be controlled at whim now…”
Once settled in their room, Ri In pulled Junsu to a corner. “Ri In?”
“Maybe you did not notice just now, but the coffee which was spilled…” Ri In said anxiously.
“It has been drugged?” Junsu finished her sentence. “I already know.” Ri In stared at Junsu in surprise. He has been bickering with Micky all the time when the coffee was spilled. How did he know?
“I saw some pink gas emitting. It was very fade, but I’m certain I saw pink gas!” Ri In confirmed what she saw with Junsu.
“Maybe I’ll show you something else…” Junsu turned on the television in their room and pressed a few buttons. A few images showed up at once. Images showing a servant that Ri In trusted so much hiding in dark corners, making calls. Junsu pressed another button and the contents of her conversation could be heard clearly. Ri In gasped and shook her head in disbelief. How can it be…
A sharp knock pulled Junsu and Ri In out of their thoughts. Junsu changed the channel whilst Ri In went to open the door. Standing outside their bedroom was Hye Jin. “Mr Park is going off. Would you like to send him out?”
“Yeah.” Ri In felt uncomfortable. “Junsu, let’s go downstairs quickly!” she walked back into the room and dragged Junsu out. Hye Jin tagged along quietly behind them, head full of thoughts.
