Chapter 29: Happy Start
Jaejoong pulled his vehicle to a stop outside the gate. Genie thanked him politely and unfastened her seatbelt. Just as she was about to get off, she felt a firm grip on her hand, pulling her back. Genie spun around to see Jaejoong’s face just millimeters from hers. A soft gasp escaped her mouth as Jaejoong planted a light kiss on her lips. “Good night, my Oxygenie.” he released his grip on her. Genie quickly scurried off the car and ran through the gates. Jaejoong chuckled as he watch Genie scamper away from him. Caressing his lips, a tiny smile formed on his lips. A smile of true happiness.

“Open the door!” Junsu shouted as soon as he walked into the mansion. “Get the door of my room open!” struggling to walk up the flight of stairs, he rebalanced the load on his arms. “This is timeless…” Ri In mumbled, swinging her right hand in the air. Junsu regretted his decision to let Ri In drink. She’s in a drunken stupor now and he has to carry her all the way back to their room.
“Keep your mouth shut and zip it up unless you want to hit your butt!” Junsu almost missed a step as Ri In covered his eyes while she sang. “Why can’t I just fall in love with a normal girl-next-door?”

“Hee Bon, are you sure about this?” Yunho’s concerned voice traveled through the receiver.
“I’m positive. I can’t just let it go to waste.” Hee Bon twirled the telephone cord with her finger. “It’s about time now.”
“If you insist, I guess I can’t do anything but to agree.” Yunho sighed.
“Come on!” Hee Bon giggled and started to tell Yunho about the joke she just heard from her neighbour.

A frail body shifted through the dark alleys, her vision slightly blurred and her emotions sitting on jagged rocks. On TaeYeon’s face was traces of dried tears. Her clothes ripped and hanging on her limply, TaeYeon attracted lots of whistles of lecherous remarks as she moved along the alley. She has lost. Junsu now belong to another whilst herself has just met with the most unfortunate thing which could’ve happened. Her mind screamed one name, not Kim Junsu, but another. Her mind has finally woken up. But everything is now too late… the one who used to love her most has given up on her.

[ 6 MONTHS LATER ]

“Kim Jaejoong, tomorrow’s headline is going to be ‘Kim Jaejoong found dead due to unknown poisoning’ if you do not get yourself here right now!” Genie shouted with her hands crossed.
“No. It’s going to say ‘Genie Zhuo is alleged to be connected to the poisoning of her husband’.” Jaejoong smirked as he walked down the stairs. “Chill, you’re going to frighten our baby.”
“When are you guys going to get married anyway? Genie won’t look good in wedding gowns when her stomach starts to show.” the bickering couple turned to look at Ri In who is making her way down the stairs with Junsu.
“As a matter of fact, I’ve already proposed to her last night.” Jaejoong raised Genie’s right hand and showed them the ring which was on her finger - Kim JJ.
“Sister-in-law!” Ri In shouted happily and placed her hand beside her Genie’s outstretched one. Glistening under the sunlight was the Kim’s brother rings.

“Ri In, will these be enough?” Genie pointed to the half full trolley she was pushing.
“Hmm… there’s only nine of us for tonight’s celebration party. It should be enough.” Ri In eyed the trolley.
“Ten! My baby Jaenie hasn’t been counted yet.” Genie placed a hand on her tummy.
“Oh! Silly me, I forgot about Jaenie!” Ri In laughed and pulled Genie towards the fresh vegetables section. “Let’s get more veggies then!”

“Your one year anniversary with Ri In is coming up in a couple of days, isn’t it?” Jaejoong sipped his cup of cappuccino. “What have you planned?”
“Divorce.” Jaejoong felt the liquid traveling back up his throat and swallowed to force it back down.
“What?! You’re going to divorce Ri In?” Jaejoong pulled Junsu closer to him to the other customers in the café won’t hear. Junsu merely shook his head, a sign that he does not wish to continue to conversation.

“Are you going to stare at me the whole time?” Hee Bon said laughingly at Hankyung.
“We’re going to be late for the party tonight if Yunho doesn’t let you off from work soon.” Hankyung complained.
“No bad-mouthing doctors!” Yunho said as he walked out of his consultation room. “You’re falling sick a lot more frequently nowadays eh.” Yunho placed a hand Hankyung’s shoulder.
“You know I just want to see my Hee Bon working…” Hankyung said sheepishly. “If only you’ll just let me in…”
“Excuse me, but I take my work seriously. Which means, no boyfriends drooling at my nurses during work.” Yunho and Hankyung continued to bicker as Hee Bon followed them out of the clinic, giggling. Life has gotten so much better. She is a well paid nurse with a boss as friendly as Yunho, and a caring boyfriend who didn’t mind about her past. What else could she ask for?

“We’ll see you at Kim’s then.” Hankyung held onto Hee Bon’s hand lovingly as he spoke to Yunho. “You sure you don’t want to hitch a ride?”
“Nah, I don’t want to be a light bulb. Plus, there’s someone I have to pick up first.” Yunho scratched his head.
“Someone?” Hee Bon teased and laughter soon echoed around the near empty parking lot.
Standing far away from the three, TaeYeon muttering something under her breath. “Hankyung… I’m sorry I didn’t realize earlier… Hankyung… I’m sorry, but it’s too late now isn’t it?”
