Ri In spun around sharply and ran out of the restaurant, leaving Junsu standing there like a complete fool. “Punch a sheep twice? A sheep…” Junsu muttered as he fell backwards into the chair. Grabbing the bottle of red wine within his sight, he brought it to his lips and poured the liquid down his throat. “She must be a stalker. Or else, she would never know these small things that happened between me and Li Yin. It is my shared memory with Li Yin. Jang Ri In, you’re not welcomed to take my memories away!”

Covering her face as her driver drove her away from the restaurant, Ri In felt tears rolling down her face. ‘Stop.’ she commanded mentally. ‘Stop crying because of a jerk whom abandoned you when you needed him most. You’re the strong and independent Jang Ri In who needs no one, not the useless Zhang Li Yin anymore.’ her tears really did stop falling. Forcing a smile upon her face, Ri In took out a mirror from her hang bag and started to fix the damages her tears had done.

Bringing his mobile phone to his ear grudgingly, Junsu heard his mother’s shrill voice. “You’d better make sure you send Ri In home safely! I am waiting to see you and Ri In at the Jang’s right now.” Junsu sobered up as soon as he heard what his mother has just said. Fumbling with the keys on the keypad, he hung up on his mother’s call and dialed Ri In’s number. “Jang Ri In, get yourself back here. I just received a call from my mother to send you back home, whether you like it or not. I want you here in 5 minutes.” Junsu cut the call before Ri In could reply, not willing to leave any room for negotiation. He paid for the bill in a hurry and dashed through the doors.

Tapping his foot impatiently, Junsu glanced at his watch again. He shouldn’t have been as gracious to give her 5 minutes. Every second seemed like a decade. Finally, he saw the familiar figure getting out of a car. Speeding towards her, he pulled Ri In by her wrist towards his car and pushed her into the passenger’s seat beside him. Ri In growled unhappily at the treatment she was receiving, but Junsu ignored her. “If my mother asks you about the dinner, you’re supposed to say that it went very well, do you hear me?” Junsu hissed as he turned the steering wheel.
“In actual fact, I did enjoy the dinner.” Ri In glared at Junsu before turning her head to look out of the window.

“My, Ri In has gotten prettier! You look gorgeous in the magazines, but even more so in real life!” Mrs Kim rushed over to Ri In as soon as she set foot into her house. Ri In smiled and greeted her politely whilst Junsu rolled his eyes and looked around in search of Ri In’s family. “Ri In, where is everyone? I’ve been here for some time and saw no one but the servants.” Mrs Kim seemed to be able to read her son’s mind.
“I think my father should be working, or with Aunt Madeline.” Ri In answered with the smile still plastered across her face. Her working smile, the one she uses during work. Junsu smirked at how lonely Ri In is at home. ‘Pathetic. Maybe this is why she has so much time on her hands to stalk me.’
“It’s getting late. Please send my regards to your father. I will take my leave with Junsu then!” Mrs Kim spotted how rude Junsu is acting and decided that it’s time to return home so she can ‘teach’ him properly. Ri In laughed and went as far as to see them both out of the mansion, successfully clinching a spot in Mrs Kim’s heart as extremely-potential-daughter-in-law.

“YOU! What were you thinking?!” Mrs Kim hollered at Junsu who had his head lowered. “Whatever it is, I want Ri In as my daughter-in-law, so forget about Chloe!”
“She’s a stalker! You can’t make me marry her. I refuse!” Junsu rebuked.
“Then you can forget about seeing the world again! Your father is ready to lock you up in your room and engaging bodyguards to make sure you can’t escape the house. I’m sure you do not wish for matters to progress to that stage, do you?”
Seeing the look on his mother’s face, Junsu knew that she meant every word she said. Albeit reluctant, he nodded his head at Mrs Kim. She clapped her hands together happily, proud that she has managed to convince her stubborn son.

“What do you think of this gown?” Yoochun pointed to one of the pictures in the book. Ye Seul shook her head and sulked. Yoochun skimmed through the many pages again and pointed out another one.
“That’s all so… yesterday! I mean, it’s long-sleeved and collared! Which bride would actually wear this?” Ye Seul exclaimed. “I don’t get why I can’t wear a bare-back either! Isn’t it my decision? You’re not even the one wearing the gown!”
“Don’t you get it? I don’t want any lustful eyes after you. Bare-back? You’re kidding me.”
Mrs Han crossed her arms feeling satisfied. Miss Chu who is standing beside her can also feel that the little ‘arguments’ once a while has brought them closer together somehow. They were elated when Yoochun managed to convince Ye Seul into letting go of the past and getting married. “I want a grandson. Within a month of marriage.” Mrs Han grinned happily at the couple who looked at her in sheer horror.

Chloe stared at the ceiling of her hotel room dejectedly. When she went out of dinner earlier, she saw Junsu. Junsu, acting intimately with a girl on the streets. She wore a simple yet elegant gown, and Junsu had on a neatly pressed suit. It seemed like a high-class meeting between the two. Feeling the rough material of the pair of ragged jeans she had on, Chloe sighed. In terms of culture, she knew nothing about Koreans. In terms of family background, she came from an average family. No wonder Junsu is seeing another girl. But still, why is her heart aching so much? Didn’t she know from the very beginning that it would not work out between her and Junsu?
