Junsu glanced around at the furnishing of the Jang mansion. 'So different from where she used to live...' Junsu fingered one of the display potteries. The mansion sported a simple and classic furnish, and on the wall behind the couch hung a family portrait - a Jang family portrait. Seeing how close Hankyung was standing to Ri In in the picture made Junsu boil. They were much too close for siblings. "We don't share the same mother." like as if Ri In could read his mind, she quickly clarified. "He's more like a friend than a brother actually. Hankyung's been really good to me..." her voice trailed off. Suddenly, a horrified look came onto her face and Ri In dashed to her forgotten handbag on the coffee table. Junsu stood behind her curiously as he watched her turn out the whole bag. "It's gone... my phone's gone!"

"What's wrong?" Junsu squatted down beside Ri In and captured her busy hands in his.
"My phone's gone! It's a gift from Hankyung!" Ri In cried. "Inside were pictures I've taken with Hankyung too..."
Junsu felt furious at how a mere mobile phone is having such an effect on Ri In. His Ri In. "Have you checked your pockets?" Junsu said grimly. Ri In stood up immediately and dug into the pocket of her jeans. She flashed a delighted smile and brandished a sleek looking phone. That’s it. Something seemed to have snapped in Junsu, causing him to grab the phone and hurl it towards the couch. The frail body of the product bounced off the couch and shattered on the floor. “Kim Junsu, what are you doing?!” Ri In gasped and rushed forward to salvage what is left of her phone. “Why did you-”
Junsu grabbed Ri In by her shoulders and pushed her head towards his chest, trapping her in his warm embrace.

“Junsu, what are you doing?” Ri In struggled and tried to be freed from Junsu’s grasps. Junsu remained silent, burying his face in Ri In’s long locks of hair. Ri In heard a soft sniff from Junsu. She felt a slight tremble in Junsu’s hold. “Junsu?” Ri In called gently. The grip around her shoulders relaxed as Junsu faced Ri In. Under the fluorescent lights are the visible tears swimming around in his eyes. “I’m jealous of how close you are to Hankyung. I’m angry at myself for leaving you seven months back. I’m regretful for causing the death of Inhwan. I want time to turn back. I want to change all these…” it’s the first time Ri In saw this grown man crying before her. Although he covered his face with his hands, Ri In seem to be able to see his pained expression. It made her heart ache. She pulled down his hands slowly, and placed a soft peck on his lips. Junsu’s arms naturally wounded themselves around her, pulling her closer to him…

“Our love will cause nothing but despair. Are you sure in starting over?” Ri In’s head is rested on Junsu lap as she played with his fingers. Junsu shook his head at Ri In. “Don’t say that our love will cause nothing but despair. The longing I’ve for you, I’m sure you longed for me too. This longing for each other, it belongs to only us. The longing caused by love…”
“Even if it causes heartache… I will believe in you one last time…” Ri In closed her eyes as the corner of her lips went up slightly. “Even if I will get hurt, I choose to believe in you again.”

“Yoochun, stop messing with my hair and focus on what the wedding planner is saying!” Ye Seul hissed. Yoochun merely gave a wry smile as he continued to tug on Ye Seul’s hair. The wedding planner sitting opposite them fidgeted in her seat nervously and cleared her throat. Yoochun finally decided to leave Ye Seul’s hair alone as he turned his attention onto the planner. “As I was saying, Miss Han has…” the lady’s voice trailed off as she noticed the kisses Yoochun blew towards her. Slamming her files onto the table, she stood up and pointed a finger in his face. “I don’t know what a lady as good as Miss Han sees in you, but you’re clearly not compatible with her!” the lady gathered her stuff and stormed off angrily.

“Serves you right. I’d very much like to see her pour her cup of latte over you. It’s a pity she didn’t.” Ye Seul fumed as Yoochun drove her home. Yoochun faked a gasp and turned to her with a horrified expression. “You wanted something bad to happen to your one and only Yoochun?”
“It’s your own fault for flirting unnecessarily. You see what I shall do to you if your behavior continues after we’re married. You’ll get it from me!” Ye Seul narrowed her eyes on Yoochun. Suddenly, it seemed to Yoochun that getting married so early wasn’t really a wise decision.

**********

Ri In pressed the doorbell nervously. Junsu had invited her over for dinner. Their first proper dinner together, at the exact same apartment where Inhwan was created. After a few rings, no Junsu opened the door for her. There was no warm welcome, no delicious meal. Ri In felt dread taking over her. The same feeling she felt a few years back on that fateful day she met with the accident. Finger shivering, she pressed the doorbell repeatedly. Tears started to flow down her face and she mumbled sentences of what she didn’t want to believe. Junsu left her again. Left her alone…
