Sitting in the convertible, Li Yin waited for Junsu to return with the sandwiches he promised. A loud beeping sound came from the monitor before her. “What’s this? Some message device?” Li Yin pressed on the blinking button. The screen flashed and the image of a middle-aged man immediately came to view. “May I ask where is the Young Master?” the man bowed to Li Yin slightly.
“What- you can see me?! We’re talking through this… is this television?” Li Yin immediately started to finger the device, looking for hidden cameras or remote controls. “This is one high-tech car!”
“Miss, kindly refrain from shaking the expensive monitor.” the man emphasized on the word’ expensive’. “You will not be able to pay if you damage it.” his words seemed like a whip, lashing at Li Yin. She withdrew her hand immediately and apologised. “Where is the Young Master?” the man asked again. Li Yin shrugged. She did not like the man, and she thought it better not to reveal too much to him. “Fine. Please pass my message to him. Master is returning from Sydney tonight at 8pm. Madam wants him to be back home by evening, by hook or by crook. Master is extremely furious with him as it is, and he should not cause more unpleasantness in the household.” before Li Yin could reply, the screen turned black.
“I haven’t asked my question yet! Rude man, where did he appear from anyway? And where’s the hidden camera…”

“What are you doing?” Junsu looked at Li Yin weirdly. “Why are you poking my monitor?”
“It’s too expensive for me to break. That man told me. Where is the camera anyway?” Li Yin gave up on the monitor and reached for her sandwich instead.
“Uh… here?” Junsu pointed to the monitor. “Oh, Mr Kang had a message for me?” he finally remembered the keyword in Li Yin’s sentence.
“Yeah.” Li Yin cleared her throat and glared at Junsu menacingly. “Master is returning from Sydney tonight at 8pm. Madam wants him to be back home by evening, by hook or by crook. Master is extremely furious with him as it is, and he should not cause more unpleasantness in the household.” Li Yin practically growled as she forced her pitch lower to mimic the man. A slight frown flashed by Junsu’s face. Even though it only lasted a second, Li Yin caught the frown. ‘Seems like it isn’t much of a good news to him…’

As soon as Ye Seul went to the piano room to have her lessons, Yoochun grab hold of the opportunity in which he was alone with Mrs Han. “Mrs Han, do you feel that there is a gap between you and Ye Seul? Do you wish to get closer to her and understand what is going through her mind?” Yoochun asked cautiously.
“Why, of course. Ever since she grew up it seems like as if I’ve lost my control over her. She treats me worst than she treats a stranger.” Mrs Han would not let this chance to vent her frustrations pass. Yoochun nodded his head at everything Mrs Han said, pretending to understand her when he is actually improvising his plan. “I know exactly what you can do to bring her closer to you. She‘d definitely be happy. She needs to get married.”

“Hankyung, can I return to Seoul with you? It‘s too late for me to catch any bus.” Hee Bon looked at Hankyung hopefully. Jumping up excitedly, she waved her fist in the air as Hankyung nodded his head to her request. “Phew, you saved me big time! I was worried I can’t make it back in time!” unknowingly, she has gotten a lot closer to Hankyung when she was jumping around. With the distance between them shortened, Hankyung caught Hee Bon easily when she tripped and fell. Hee Bon gulped when she felt the warmth emitting from Hankyung. He appeared to have no intentions of letting go. Arms still tightly around Hee Bon’s waist, Hankyung stared into the pair of amber eyes before him. ‘There seem to be no bottom to this pair of eyes… like a deep ocean…’ time ceased to move as they remained fixed in that position. Suddenly, Hankyung released Hee Bon and fell towards the ground. “What are you doing to me daughter?! Who are you?! Are you a boy or a girl?!” a man pointed at Hankyung angrily. Hee Bon gasped and held onto the man by his shoulder, in fear that he might just charge at Hankyung without warning.
“Run, Hankyung! We’ll meet at the front of this village! Run quickly!”

“Sorry, Li Yin. I meant to spend the whole day with you today…” Junsu smiled apologetically. Li Yin shook her head and hugged Junsu. Taken aback, Junsu remained as still as a statue. Li Yin has never initiated a hug before. Slowly, his hands traveled onto her back and settled there firmly. Li Yin patted Junsu’s head and let go of her hold on him. “Get going already. Your mother is waiting for you. Do help me to say hi to her!” Li Yin waved and skipped into her house. Staring at the closed gate, Junsu recalled the time where he’d punched Zhang Xiong. “Where is he now anyway? I haven’t seen him ever since…” Junsu shook his head and hopped back into his convertible. Down and depressed, Junsu stepped on the oil pedal as lightly as possible. He’d rather not go home if it is possible. He could predict what his father is going to say to him. “It’ll be the usual: stay at home and attend lessons like a good heir! Of course it’s easy for him to say that…” Junsu grumbled as the car slowed to a stop before a red light. For some reason, Junsu wanted to run from his duties for just a day. “Kim Junsu, stop acting like a kid. You’ve to toughen up. You’re a man now, and Li Yin is your responsibility. Aishh! What nonsense am I talking about now? Li Yin has nothing to do with my father… wait, she does if she’s going to become my wife…”

“Dad, why are you back so early? Didn’t you plan to be in Sydney for a week?” Junsu had his best manners on, a completely different Junsu from the one which hung around Li Yin like a 5 year old.
“What do you think? Haven’t your mother told you already?” Mr Kim turned to his wife which shook her head.
“Junsu hasn’t been coming home on time and he leaves the house even before the sun is up, dear. I have got no chance to talk to him at all. If you did not bring forward your return I’ll probably never see my son again.” Mrs Kim threw a glare at Junsu. Obviously, she said that for him more than for his father. Mr Kim shook his head at Junsu, appearing to be disappointed. “First you skip your lessons, and now you don’t even come home on time. This makes me even more certain that my decision is right.”
