“Junsu, it’s time for you to let me go. You’ve to move on…”
Junsu shook his head violently as the image of Guigui became blurry. He reached his hands out for Guigui, only to see that his own hands were barely visible.
“Junsu, it’s time for you to leave. Take care of yourself, and please return to the true you…” Guigui’s voice grew fainter and fainter as he was sucked out of the white box…

“Wu Ying Jie!” Junsu screamed her name in anger as he jolt awake. He was fuming, it was evident when he addressed Guigui by her real name. Fist tightly clutching onto the notebook lying beside him, he took one glance at it and flung it to the other side of the room. He didn’t understand. Why did Guigui still have to leave him despite all his efforts to keep by her side? Feeling irritated, he clambered off the bed to retrieve the notebook - his diary to Guigui. Most of the time, he scribbled and drew in the notebook when his laptop wasn’t available. It was one of the many ways he ‘communicated’ with Guigui. Junsu sighed as he brought the book close to his body. “I’m sorry, Guigui. Maybe, it’s really time…”

Sunshine shone onto Yunho’s sleeping face, causing him to twitch uncomfortably. Placing breakfast on the table, xiaoxi quickly hurried over to draw the curtains. ‘I hope my decision to stay is right. Somehow, I have this feeling that Yunho needs support a lot.’ xiaoxi thought as she knelt beside the couch. Yunho groaned suddenly as he tried to sat up. Xiaoxi offered her hand to him immediately, which he took gratefully. “I was drunk last night?” he asked while massaging his temples. Xiaoxi nodded in reply, wondering if he remembered what he had revealed in his sleep. Just as xiaoxi was about to get up and return to the kitchen, he grabbed both of her hands and pulled her into a tight embrace. “Please just let me hug you for a while. I had a nightmare, in which I returned to the past, and witnessed a horrible scene.” Yunho tightened the hug further, causing xiaoxi’s face to turn white. Half of her wanted to push him away, yet half of her wanted to become a bolster for him to hug onto. What a dilemma.

As the three shuffled into the school, they shared barely a word about the events of the previous day. A book fell onto the floor, sound echoing around the corridor, while xiaoxi muttered an apology while bending over to retrieve her book. “Don’t you know to apologise while looking at the person?” the guy smirked and pulled her up forcefully. Li Yin was about to offer a helping hand to xiaoxi when Yunho intervened. His hand closed around the guy’s wrist, obviously crushing the guy which appeared so much weaker against Yunho. Yunho sent a piercing glare at him before grabbing hold of both girls and steering them towards their first class.

The trio nearly had the shock of their life when they entered the classroom. Seated at Junsu’s seat was a guy with reddish-copper hair, gelled stylishly with his fringe falling freely to one side of the face. Perched on the bridge of his nose was a pair of red framed glasses. The low-cut, button down shirt coupled with a pair of faded jeans completed his look. Xiaoxi was the first to recover from her shock. “Jun… Junsu?” her voice obviously shook. The guy named ‘Junsu’ turned her way and flashed a dazzling smile, earning the squeals of their female classmates. Indeed, the guy who has changed so drastically in his appearance was none other than Kim Junsu. Or perhaps it wasn’t really a change to begin with. He was just reverting back to his old self.

As Li Yin settled into her seat beside Junsu, she couldn’t help but throw a few extra glances his way. The ‘nerdy partner’ who can’t even stop his glasses from slipping off has now turned into a completely different person, a much attractive person. “Am I too handsome for you?” Junsu asked cheekily. Female classmates who were nearby sent out little screams from time to time. Gone was Junsu’s title of the ‘invisible class nerd’. His introverted character vanished along with the previous appearance as well. Li Yin huffed and turned her attention onto the violin scores she laid out before her. Keeping her sight on her own table, only her hands moved to push the scores over to Junsu’s side of the table.

“Looks like you’re not the only person who has been doing work.” Junsu joked as he took out his notebook. Li Yin noticed at once that it wasn’t the usual notebook he constantly wrote in. What Junsu has just taken out of his bag - which is now a leather bag - was a bright red notebook. He flipped the book open to its first page and proudly flashed the fruits of his labor. “不得不愛. (Got to Love.)” Li Yin took the book over and cradled it in her hands. Silence drawled on as they both got to work studying each other’s creation.

“Whatever came over Junsu?” Yunho asked as he prepared himself for their theory lesson.
“Nothing much. I guess he’s finally moving on with life…” xiaoxi placed her head on the desk.
“Do you know a lot about him?” Yunho sounded irritated for some reason. Irritated, by what?
“You can say that. I’ve been in the same class as he is ever since we knew each other.” xiaoxi closed her eyes. She’s still tired from taking care of two drunks the night before, and she definitely isn’t in the best shape to attend lessons. Yunho glanced at the clock and back at his sleeping partner. Grabbing all of their belongings, he pulled her up and out of the classroom.
