Swinging her legs back and forth as Junsu walked around his room tidying up here and there, Li Yin yawned. “I didn’t come here to watch you do spring cleaning. If you aren’t going to be trying out the song, I’m leaving.” Li Yin declared. Junsu immediately dropped the pile of books in his hand with a deafening ‘thud!’ as they land scattered all over the floor. Before she could react, Junsu had pulled her off the comfort of the couch and towards his music room.

Rather roughly, he sat Li Yin on a chair and settled himself before the piano. Without warning, he started to play the piano while looking at Li Yin expectantly. Li Yin simply stared back at him with a blank expression, not quite understanding what he is trying to do. “Aren’t you going to start singing now that I’m playing the piano?” he smirked. Li Yin immediately saw red when she realised that he has just teased her.

Yunho smiled as he watched xiaoxi penned down the lyrics according to the dance he choreographed and the music he had arranged. However, he knew it was no mean feat, watching how xiaoxi struggled at some parts and wrote continuously at others. Leaning over her shoulder to look at what she has written so far, he inhaled the vanilla scent from her hair. A warm and sweet scent, perfect for xiaoxi. His arms wound themselves around her waist unknowingly and he rested his head on top of hers…

Junsu quickly scribbled down the changes he had made to have the music suit Li Yin better. Meanwhile, Li Yin tried her best to modify the lyrics such that it would blend nicely into the music. Looking up when he was done, Junsu found himself looking intently at Li Yin as she chewed at the end of her pencil. A giggle escaped his lips as he reached over to pull out the stationery. “It’s dirty and full of germs.” he reminded and placed the pencil on the table, away from her reach. A pout formed on Li Yin’s lips. “How am I supposed to modify the lyrics if you take away my pencil?”
“It doesn’t really matter. I have the ability of remembering a song after listening to it just once. Simply sing it to me, and I will remember the lyrics for you.” Junsu grinned and started to play the piano again. ‘Just like how I will help you to remember every little thing that happens between us from now onwards…’

Packing her notebook into her bag, Li Yin suddenly shouted. ‘Ah! I clean forgotten about having to talk to Ryan about…” her voice trailed off and a frown came onto her face. Junsu sat himself opposite her and placed a warm hand over hers. He shook his head and smiled. “I settled him for you. Don’t you wonder why he hasn’t been appearing in school even though he’s been discharged from hospital? That‘s because I pleaded with xiaoxi to speak to the principal. He was expelled from school.”

Li Yin stared at Junsu feeling shocked. “Expelled? You got him expelled?”
“It’s for the best. He didn’t deserve to stay in school after picking a fight too. The principal expelled him willingly.” Junsu didn’t understand. Why doesn’t Li Yin look happy at all? Shouldn’t she be glad that the threat is gone permanently? Li Yin’s face remained expressionless. “I don’t feel good about causing someone to be expelled.” she withdrew her hand from Junsu’s hold. He appeared lost for a brief second before quickly pulling her hand back into his grip firmly. Looking into her eyes, Junsu hoped to pass the message to her without having to speak. He wanted her to understand that he did it all for her. He didn’t want her to be threatened, especially not wanting her to be bothered about the fact that she’s hearing impaired. He just want her to be happy and safe.

Yunho looked up form his book abruptly, noticing that it has gotten silent all of a sudden. Not that xiaoxi has been really noisy, but the sound of pencil against paper ceased to exist. Placing his book aside, Yunho grinned when he realised that xiaoxi has fallen asleep at the table. Pulling the book gently from under her head which rested on it, Yunho took a look at the lyrics and hummed to it. He started to sing softly and bobbed his head to the song. Satisfied, he placed the book on the table and bent over to gather xiaoxi in his arms. He carried her securely in his muscular arms across to the bed in his room and placed her down gently. Pulling the blanket over her, he hesitated briefly before quickly placing a kiss on her lips. Feeling his cheeks burn up, he hurriedly turned and returned to his spot on the beanbag.

Sitting in Junsu’s car, Li Yin gripped onto the seatbelt tightly. “No more speeding!” she warned. Junsu chuckled and changed gears. “Close your eyes and take a nap. I’ll wake you up when we reach.” jamming his feet on the gas pedal, the car practically flew across the road. Li Yin groaned and shut her eyes tightly. It would be a miracle if she can actually fall asleep in the car. Li Yin started to mumble a prayer, causing Junsu to laugh loudly and lose control of the car. “Keep your eyes on the road, and your hands on the steering wheel!” Li Yin shouted at once, feeling her heart thump against her ribcage. She never thought there would be a day where she would miss a nerd.
