Driving as quickly as he could, Zai Zhong wondered why Young Master Jin suddenly needed so much money. During breakfast, Jun Xiu ordered him to drive to the bank and retrieve all of his money on his behalf and return as swiftly as possible. Not only did Jun Xiu ask him to visit the bank, he also requested for You Tian and Xuan Na to brace themselves mentally. ‘What is he thinking of? He isn't a reckless person to begin with, so what is Young Master possibly planning?’

“Leave the mansion first. I will meet up with you both later, so wait for me below the bridge. A rowboat is waiting for you there. Don’t leave until I arrive. I need to settle some stuff before meeting you guys.” Jun Xiu instructed simply and directed Xuan Na out of the mansion along with You Tian. Whilst Xuan Na can’t wait to get away from Jun Xiu, You Tian glanced at him worriedly. What he said last night about assisting them kept echoing in his mind. Is Jun Xiu going to help them elope? What about their parents? How about the trouble he caused after killing Jin Yu Bin?

Pacing about impatiently before the front door, Jun Xiu nearly pounced on Zai Zhong as soon as he got off the vehicle. Grabbing the bag of money, Jun Xiu wanted to finish off his plan quickly before his family flies over. “To make it simple, I am going to leave the Jin family and aid You Tian and Xuan Na in eloping. I will beg my father to let you stay on in the family-”
“No. I refuse to stay here if Young Master is not here. How can you make such a bold decision? Have you thought of the consequences?” Zai Zhong interrupted regardless of how rude it was. Sighing, Jun Xiu nodded his head briefly to acknowledge that he has understood Zai Zhong’s words and hopped into the car. “To Xuan Na’s house immediately.”

It didn’t take much persuasion for Xuan Na’s father who is worried sick to follow them onto the car. As soon as he spot the daughter he misses so dearly, he walked as speedily as his legs could bring him towards the rowboat. Embracing Xuan Na agitatedly, he started shouting. “How could you run away like this? Do you know how worried the family is because of you?” Xuan Na pushed her father away slightly and pulled You Tian over with a free hand. As soon as her father’s sight landed on You Tian, he delivered a hard slap across his face. “How could you seduce my daughter? I should never have adopted you in the first place!” he snarled. He did not bring up his daughter so painstakingly only to have to hand her over to her brother. Jun Xiu stepped between them to prevent further injuries. “If you understand how deep their love is, you would not force them to part. It is painful to part a couple in love. Can you bear the guilt if you see your daughter depressed for the rest of her life? Can you bear the consequences for stopping your daughter in seeking her one and only true love?”

Looking sadly at the retreating figure of her aged father, Xuan Na started sobbing. Throwing a punch towards Jun Xiu’s chest, Xuan Na glared at him. “Why did you say those words to my father? You broke his heart!” You Tian pulled Xuan Na towards himself and held firmly to her hands. Smiling apologetically at Jun Xiu, You Tian turned Xuan Na around to face him. “You have to admit what he said makes sense! Not to mention, he is our benefactor! If not for him, the villagers would’ve caught us by now and our plight might be much worse!” You Tian drilled the information into her. Xuan Na glanced at Jun Xiu resentfully before nodding her head at You Tian.

Unzipping the bag, Jun Xiu separated the stacks of money equally and shoved one side to Zai Zhong. “You should be able to start some form of business with this money. Use it wisely to support yourself.” turning to You Tian, he handed the remaining money to him. “You will be in need of money, be it traveling expenses or for daily necessities. This is all I have left. It might not be much, but it should be enough to tide you over until you settle down and find a job.” Zai Zhong looked at Jun Xiu absurdly. “Young Master, I cannot accept this! This is your entire savings!” You Tian nodded his head in approval of Zai Zhong’s words. How could he possibly take Jun Xiu’s money? “This is the least I can do for you guys. I will be angry if you don’t accept it. I have my own plans, so don’t reproach yourself for taking the money.” Jun Xiu’s sharp eyesight sighted the two cars which drove towards his mansion. At last, what he has been preparing for all these while has arrived…

Sitting in two separate cars rented when they got off the plane, Jun Xiu’s parents and Yu Bin’s parents drove towards the Jin mansion. “I will never let Jin Jun Xiu off for killing our Yu Bin. What has she done to him to deserve this?!” Yu Bin’s mother shouted as her tears rolled down uncontrollably. “Is that the river which she drowned in? She’s trembling alone in that chilly water!” she pointed to the river as they drove past it. Her husband tried desperately to calm her down while trying to contain his own grief. Their daughter who would not go near the waters regardless what happen actually drowned at sea. No amount of time will be able to pull him out of his shock and anguish.

Massaging his temples, Jun Xiu’s father tried to remain his cool. He aims to finish lecturing the imbecile which he gave birth to and force a proper reason out of him for Yu Bin’s death - or at least that was what he aimed to do originally. As the car drove past the river which he believes drowned Yu Bin, he felt overwhelming guilt. If he had raised his son better, this wouldn’t have happened. If he had stopped Yu Bin from returning, this wouldn’t have happened. As if understanding what he is thinking of, his wife held onto his hand tightly as consolation. “We are both at fault for not bringing up Jun Xiu properly.”
