After convincing You Tian and Xuan Na to remain in the car with Zai Zhong at the beach, Jun Xiu took his time to slowly stroll back to his mansion. Absorbed in the surrounding, Jun Xiu tried to etch each scenery into his memory. ‘I might never have a chance to return here after making such a decision…’

“I caused Yu Bin’s death because of my own selfishness and jealousy. I saw the woman that I loved kissing another guy. Jealousy stemmed, and I dashed out without thinking. Yu Bin tagged along wanting to stop me but everything ended tragically instead. I know I can’t redeem myself now regardless of what I do, but I still want to beg for your forgiveness.” Jun Xiu knelt before the two pairs of parents, head lowered and fist clenched to prepare himself for any punishment. Just as he expected, a hard slap was delivered across his face and left his cheek stinging. Yu Bin’s father shook angrily, eyes set on Jun Xiu. “Jin Jun Xiu, how could you kill my precious daughter! She was my one and only child, what rights do you have to take her away from me just like this? You can forget about forgiveness!” he lunged forward to grab Jun Xiu by his collar and flung him towards the wall. Like a lifeless puppet, Jun Xiu allowed himself to be beaten up by Yu Bin’s father whilst his heart bled at the sight of his mother sobbing. He deserved it.
Bracing himself for whatever that might come, Jun Xiu forced himself to say the cruel words. “From today on, please stop regarding me as a member of the Jin family. I have not only killed Yu Bin, I am currently assisting a pair of siblings who are in love to elope. I can no longer stay on so shamelessly.” he bowed ninety degrees towards his parents. Jun Xiu straightened his body and swallowed back the tears that are surging. Even though he doubt that his parents will be saddened by his decision to leave them, he will not take any chances. “Zai Zhong has decided to leave as well. I believe life will not be much different without me since I was never treated as your son to begin with.” Jun Xiu said the final words which is bound to hurt any parent’s heart. His mother looked at him with a shocked expression, unable to utter a single word. She knew what her son said was right. They have never taken good care of Jun Xiu because of the rare illness that came along with him. To them, he was a disgrace being part of the family. But why does it still pain her when she heard the words from Jun Xiu’s mouth?
When Jun Xiu appeared in the living room again, he had his luggage packed beside him and is getting ready to leave the household. “Wait! Bring me along!” the abrupt shout from a petite lady took all the attention away from Jun Xiu. Wen Xuan ran out from the kitchen, looking determined after making up her mind. “I don’t want to stay on at a place without Young Mistress Yu Bin. Please bring me to Zai Zhong!” her heart thumped wildly at the mention of the man she fell in love with at the first sight. Everyone looked at her, astonished. Wen Xuan’s cheeks flushed red from being in the limelight. “Young Master Jin, please bring me along! I won’t burden you, I can take care of myself and even take care of you and Zai Zhong!” Although her interference will not ruin his plans, it seemed as though he is taking away another person from Yu Bin’s parents. Yet at the thought of how he should be responsible for Yu Bin’s most treasured personal attendant, he relented. Under her persistence and his conscience, Jun Xiu finally nodded his head in agreement.
The atmosphere in the car remained tensed despite there being five people. All of them had no idea what lies ahead for their future, except for Jun Xiu who remained tightlipped about his plans. Zai Zhong who has been driving for nearly an hour finally found it unbearable and decided to break the ice. “Young Master, where are we headed exactly?”
“I’m no longer a part of the Jin family. Just address me informally as a friend and call me by name.” Jun Xiu smiled warmly at him. Zai Zhong jammed his leg on the brake and snapped his head around sharply in astonishment. Jun Xiu merely shook his head and signaled for him to continue driving. Faced with everyone’s concerned gaze, Jun Xiu shut his eyes to avoid any confrontation or questions. This is for the good of everyone, the best decision he has made in his whole life…
Pulling the car to a skillful stop, Zai Zhong eyed the place that Jun Xiu has ordered him to drive them to. “This is where you guys will live at from now on.” Jun Xiu announced as he observed the place he has nearly forgotten. This house belonged to him, a gift for his eighteenth birthday. He never expected it to come in handy at a time like this. “This is my gift to the four of you.” Jun Xiu expressed generously and unlocked the front door. While the others started exploring the new place, Zai Zhong remained beside Jun Xiu. “You mentioned this place will be given to us. What about you? Aren’t you going to stay with us? Why did you distribute all of your money to us? Jun Xiu, what are you planning exactly?” Zai Zhong questioned. Jun Xiu replied with a mysterious smile and shoved him towards Wen Xuan.

Whilst Zai Zhong helped Wen Xuan with making dinner and You Tian went to shower, Xuan Na decided to have a talk with Jun Xiu. Navigating around the house with ease, Xuan Na preferred the place a lot more as compared to the mansion. At least one wouldn’t get lost around the place. “Jin Jun Xiu?” Xuan Na knocked on the door to his room gently and pushed it open. Jun Xiu looked up from his book, surprised at the visitor to his room. Putting away his book, Jun Xiu gradually stood up with a startled expression.
