Chapter 1: Unwillingly Married

Yunho cursed himself mentally as he downed the nth glass of liquor. He is to get married tomorrow. He would have been ecstatic if he was marrying his love, a stunningly beautiful young man by the name of Kim Jaejoong, who also used to be in the same idol group as him. However, he is getting married with a woman he hardly know, considering that he only knew her name. His lips parted into a bitter smile as he recalled how he was forced to take responsibility of her after spending the night together. The amusing thing was that he had no inkling about doing anything to her. Tomorrow afternoon, he is to get married with her in a church she picked out. She has been busying herself with decorating the church personally and preparing their wedding gown and suit. She said she wanted it to be a simple affair, with no friends or relatives to be in attendance. Yunho shook his head. His parents and most importantly, Jaejoong, would never let him off once they find out he got married secretly. Drowning in despair, Yunho buried his head in his arms. For the first time in his life, the mighty leader is helpless.

So Hee grinned as she packed her belongings into her luggage. She would be marrying her dream guy tomorrow, and she would be able to live with him at his place. She no longer has to seek refuge at a hotel, nor does she has to face being alone again. Looking out of the window, So Hee closed her eyes. “Appa, Umma. I’m getting married tomorrow. You guys must be really happy for me up there right? Don‘t be overly excited, okay? Appa and Umma must look over me during the wedding tomorrow.” opening her eyes slowly, So Hee smiled contentedly. It might be despicable of her to set up a trap in order to marry her soon-to-be-husband, but she’s willing to go to any extent just to be with who she wants. ‘Nobody shall stand in my way. Not even Kim Jaejoong.’

Yunho took a quick glance at the intricately decorated interiors of the church. There was a flower bundle tied to the ends of each bench, and lightweight curtains were draped across the ceilings and cascaded over the place in a romantic manner. Candles lighted the way to the front and rose petals were scattered over the whole place. It might not be very fancy, but to be honest, he was surprised at the great job despite So Hee decorating the place personally. “What am I thinking?!” he shook his head. “I’m supposed to hate her for ruining my life. Whether she did a good job or not, she still disturbed my originally peaceful life and came between me and Jaejoong!” gritting his teeth as he got the part which sent his nerves jumping each time, Yunho clenched his fists together to resist the temptation to rip the church apart. Just then, his enemy made her way into the church in her wedding gown…

Compared to a wedding gown, it was more of a simple yet elegant cocktail dress in white. A soft pink bow went all around So Hee’s waist and her hands held onto a bouquet of matching pinks. Although unwilling, Yunho led her to the front and exchanged marriage vows with her. Hopelessness engulfed him as she slid the ring onto his finger and he help her with hers. They have undergone the rites, put on the wedding bands, and are now officially married after putting down their signatures on the wedding certificate.

Jaejoong scowled as he slammed the remote control onto the couch he was sitting on. He hasn’t heard from Yunho for a whole week. What was he so busy with to not be able to even send a text message? Running his fingers through his coffee-brown hair, Jaejoong inhaled and exhaled deeply to calm himself. Just then, he snapped his fingers and grinned. “That’s right! If he can’t visit me at my place, I can always go over to his! Silly me, why haven’t I thought about it earlier?” Jaejoong quickly walked to his wardrobe and started putting together an outfit. Looking smart and handsome in jeans and a button down checkered top, Jaejoong slithered his pair of long and slender legs into his favourite boots. Just the mere thought of seeing his lover after a week sent tingles down his spine. He swiftly grabbed his car keys off the table and set off for his surprise meeting.

The newly wedded couple spoke not a single word as Yunho drove them back to his place. They were still in their wedding gown and suit because he had dragged her into the car angrily after the wedding was complete. So Hee didn’t seem to mind though, as she was too preoccupied gazing at the ring on her finger. Yunho didn’t bother to stop the car gently and jammed his leg on the brakes, startling his wife as she was nearly thrown out of her seat if not for the seatbelt. Yunho got off the car and went to the trunk to fish out her luggage and their wedding certificate. So Hee stepped out after calming herself down. Yunho left the stuff and stormed to his house. Collecting her belongings, she pulled it along behind her as she followed him. Before they could even make it through the front door however, the front lights of another car which pulled into the driveway blinded the two.

Removing his seatbelt and standing up from his seat in the convertible, Jaejoong waved excitedly at the person he has missed so dearly. “Yunho-ah! What luck to bump into you out here!” Jaejoong quickly got off and ran over for a hug which Yunho returned gladly. He yearned to hug Jaejoong like this so much, but have been too distressed lately to contact him. So Hee which has been neglected like a transparent sheet of glass purposely cleared her throat loudly. “Yunho-ah, I’m tired after the wedding. Let’s go in quickly!” she emphasized on the word ‘wedding’ and went over to hold Yunho’s hand. Jaejoong who was forced to separate from his hug finally turned his attention to the woman beside them. He raised an eyebrow as he gave her a stare down. Who was this woman to interrupt his moment with Yunho? How dare she? “Yunho-ah, I’m tired after OUR wedding today.” So Hee rephrased her sentence. True enough, the new found truth bowled Jaejoong over.

“What is the meaning of this?” Jaejoong tried to contain his rising fury. “You got married? Who is this woman? How come you’ve never mentioned her to me before? What did you take me as? Was I just a toy for entertainment?” Jaejoong’s questions came at break-neck speed. So Hee rolled her eyes and stepped forward so she was face-to-face with her rival in love. Sticking out her hand, she flashed her wedding ring in his face and smirked. “Is this enough to answer your questions? I got married to Yunho because we’re in love.” Yunho smacked himself mentally for giving her a chance to speak and mess things up before he could even explain. Quickly unlocking the front door, he shoved her into the house and slammed the door shut. He then proceeded to bring Jaejoong to his car and drove off to a nearby park, away from So Hee, so he could justify his actions without further interference from her…
